Study trip to Milano and Verona

Our first international study trip brought us to northern Italy, Milano and Verona.

On our four-day long trip we visited must-see’s like Portaluppi’s Villa Necchi, Scarpa’s Castelvecchio and OMA’s Fondazione Prada. We visited AMDL Circle’s beautiful Milan studio filled with models, mock-ups and prototypes of all sorts of projects.

We visited the Bicocca Hangars with Anselm Kiefer’s gigantic, impressive towers - and we might have also visited one or two wine bars…

Besides all of these, we came across many surprises by chance: tucked away courtyards, grand marble-clad entrances and lush rooftop-forests. We saw places we all agreed to admire, but also places that sparked discussions in the group. We recharged on architectural inspiration. And, not least, we enjoyed spending time together as a young, newly assembled team!
